KptnCook – Become Your Own Chef

KptnCook is a mobile app that inspires cooking in an innovative way. For the startup, we animated a video that explains the app and also works great as an advertisement.

Together with the KptnCook design team, we developed a concept that takes KptnCook's corporate identity and company philosophy and translates it into an animation with an illustrative and narrative character. Dramaturgy, formal language and timing form the core of the video and become a single unit.

After the briefing, it was clear that we were working on a very striking and colorful flat design style that would be free of textures and gradients. Color management was a challenge because, despite KptnCook's saturated CI colors, we always had to focus the viewer's attention on what was important in the image.
