Explainer videos at Jojomoto start at €5,000 for the first minute of film — including concept development, style design, animation, voice-over, music and sound design. From the second minute onwards it gets more cost-efficient, since we build on the assets we've already created: a 2-minute film starts at €7,000. The final investment depends on the animation style, content complexity and any additional services like multilingual versions.

Social media clips start at €2,000 for 30 seconds. For content series it gets significantly more efficient, as style, assets and workflows can be reused — additional clips in a series cost less accordingly. If you're planning a campaign or building a video channel, it's worth talking about tailored package pricing.
→ Social Media Content & Campaigns
The main pricing factors are film length, animation style, content complexity and the number of assets required. A minimalist 2D style is significantly more efficient than complex 3D product visualisations or character animation with many different figures. Add-ons like multilingual versions, format adaptations or accelerated timelines come on top.
For non-profit projects that genuinely resonate with us, we're open to adjusted pricing. We have long-standing experience working with NGOs, foundations and social organisations and know how to create maximum impact with limited budgets. Just reach out and we can talk about it.
Our standard pricing covers organic use on your own channels — website, social media and internal use. For paid advertising (Google Ads, social ads, TV, cinema), additional buyout fees may apply depending on campaign reach and duration. We discuss this transparently during briefing and calculate fair, industry-standard rates.
Production at Jojomoto runs in five phases: briefing & research, concept & style development, asset creation & animatic, animation, audio & finalisation. You're most actively involved at the beginning and give feedback at clearly defined milestones — overall around 2–4 hours of active involvement across the entire production. We've described the full process in detail on our blog. to clarify so that you know exactly what we're talking about:

Each of the five production phases includes two rounds of feedback — that's ten structured feedback moments in total. In practice, this is almost always enough. Larger content changes outside this structure may lead to timeline and cost adjustments, but that rarely happens.
You don't need a finished concept — we develop that together. What's helpful: background materials on your topic (studies, presentations, reports), a clear goal definition and information about your target audience. If you have them: brand guidelines or visual references you like. The more context we have, the more targeted we can work — but we find the right direction even with limited input.
Yes, updates and new versions based on an existing film are straightforward and significantly more efficient than a full new production. This applies to content updates, multilingual versions, different cut lengths and adjustments to new brand guidelines. with corrections and changes included. This means: After the concept, after asset creation/Animatic, after the first animation and after the sound version, you can give feedback twice and make requests for changes. with corrections and changes included. Yes, AI has been part of our workflow since 2024 — in every production. We use it for research, initial style tests, asset generation and motion references. Creative decisions, storytelling and quality control stay with the humans. Our formula: AI accelerates the first 80% — we're responsible for the last 20%.
No. We use AI as a tool, not as a replacement for creative work. AI helps us explore and iterate faster — individual elements, not entire scenes. Concept, style, storytelling and the final film come from real creative work. The result is a high-quality animation, not generated mass content.
We work with 2D animation, 3D animation and hybrid approaches that combine both techniques. On top of that: motion graphics, character animation, collage styles and infographic animations. Which style fits best depends on your topic, target audience and budget — we figure that out together during briefing.
Yes, we work with both 2D and 3D and often combine them in hybrid approaches. We use 3D especially for product visualisations, spatial representations and technical devices. If you have CAD data (STEP, IGES, STL or native formats like SolidWorks or Fusion 360), we can integrate these directly — saving time and ensuring technically precise results.(e.g. technical devices, machines), or when certain visual effects require a three-dimensional environment.

We produce explainer videos, product videos, social media content, app videos, training videos and presentation videos. All formats are developed with individual concepts and custom design — no templates.
Yes, we produce multilingual videos with professional translators and native-speaking voice artists. Technically, we produce a master version and create language-specific audio tracks — far more efficient than producing a new film for each language. We also pay attention to cultural nuances in the visual design.
Most of our collaboration is remote — briefings, concept discussions and feedback rounds happen over video call. For clients in Berlin, in-person meetings at our studio on Paul-Lincke-Ufer are of course possible, but not a requirement. such as Frame.io (for time-coded video comments), email for formal votes and, if necessary, Slack or teams for quick queries.
Upon full payment, Jojomoto transfers comprehensive usage rights to you for the agreed purposes — typically unlimited use on your own channels (website, organic social media, internal presentations, trade shows). For paid advertising, we agree on separate buyouts. Copyright remains with Jojomoto, which allows us to show projects in our portfolio. and has worked perfectly over the years. Briefings, concept discussions and feedback sessions typically take place via video calls.
We deliver all common formats and resolutions: typically high-resolution MP4 files in Full HD (1920×1080) or 4K (3840×2160), optimised for different platforms — 16:9 for YouTube and websites, 1:1 or 9:16 for social media. ProRes is available on request for further editing. It is usually 2-4 weeks, depending on our current workload. After an initial introductory meeting, we prepare an offer and plan the kick-off when you order. The actual production then takes 8-16 weeks, depending on the scope.
Yes, accessibility is something we think about from the start. Our concept developer Theresa holds certified qualifications in digital accessibility and plain language. We create subtitles on request (including multilingual), ensure high-contrast design and can integrate audio description.
