The Competence Center for Climate Protection in Energy-Intensive Industries (KEI) presents an animated explanatory film on energy flexibility in industry. The film highlights the findings from the groundbreaking Enertile and Forecast studies by the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI.
While Enertile models the optimal design of the energy system, Forecast analyses the development of industrial energy demand. Using the glass and cement industry as an example, it is shown how innovative technologies and process adjustments can contribute to energy flexibility.
