Charlotte asked us to design a new concept for house rules. As part of the modernization of their corporate identity, videos should also be incorporated into the public image. Here, it was particularly important to highlight the likeable character of “Charlotte” and at the same time to appeal to a wide range of target groups of all ages. A creative framework, lively animations and, above all, humor work best there! The teaser clip shows a brief presentation of the characters and the lives of the Burg family. But it should continue with the explanatory film series. Start with proper heating and ventilation. At the heart of Charlotte's house rules are shown in 7 smaller films.
In order to represent spatial situations that are correct in perspective, we decided to create the scenes in 3D. At the same time, however, we wanted to create a friendly and handmade look that primarily features chalk, pastel and watercolor textures. Bringing both worlds together harmoniously here was a constant challenge. However, the results show that it can work excellently and that it has even resulted in a very unique visual style.
As a template for the Burg family home, we used a real project from the Charlottenburger Baugenossenschaft. But for long-time Charlotte sympathizers and insiders, there are certainly more details to discover.
